Funky & Modern Painted Squares in the Nursery

Tickled Pink

I am amazed at all the great new and modern paint ideas for today’s baby nursery. Painted squares are a simple and easy way to add pops color and tie in both furniture, bedding, and accessories. This concept would be great on an accent wall behind the crib. Try to use colors that are soft and complimentary of eachother. Unless you want to go for a bold look, then go for brighter and bolder colors.

The first two pictures, displayed below and above, I found on www.housescouchesandbabies.com. In both rooms the color palette for the painted squares on the walls were taken from the colors in the bedding. So everything blends nicely.
