“We painted the walls in stem green and then I decided to do a large white stripe in the middle about 3/4 up the walls. I framed the white stripe with a narrower stripe of chocolate brown. We purchased the monkey and green & brown polka dot wall decals on ebay, which we thought were nice touches for a baby boy and they are easily removable when he no longer wants them on the walls.“
“We both chose what colors to use and decided to go with Color Place paint and applied the shading with a sea sponge. It cost quite a bit with there being so many different colors. And it required a lot of paint brushes, mainly because my husband left them laying around over night and the paint would end up drying.“
“I ordered repro circus prints framed in antique white frames, painted the room like a tent, and then shopped for circus theme tin toys and vintage trinkets to display on the book shelf. The palette is red, white, dusty blue, and chocolate brown which is also vintage in feel.”
“I wanted to add some character to the walls besides just the paint color and since the bedding has a leaf pattern, I thought a tree would be the perfect accent. We live in an apartment, so when we move we will need to paint the walls back to white. I didn’t want to spend a lot of time painting a tree on the wall only to paint over it within the next year, so I decided to get a wall decal. I found a beautiful tree wall decal at www.wallslicks.com. It takes two people to put it up, but it is relatively easy and the end result is fabulous.”

Thanks for the post Dawn. I agree with Erin – it is a tough choice. I’m glad I don’t have to make it!
oh that is HARD! I’m drawn to the jungle b/c I’m having another boy and want to do animals..but I LOVE the Girly Mod for a girl! The Modern Garden is ADORABLE too! I love how they did her name! HARD choices!
All so creative…congratulations! My personal picks would be this: 5,1,3,4,2
Too bad I’m past baby stages….I would have loved the low cost, high impact of your designs to try myself.
I really like them all. My choices would be 5,4,3,2,1 in that order from most liked to least.
I like 5,1,2,4,3
That garden inspired one is adorable!
I have been looking looking around for this kind of information. Will you post some more in future? I’ll be grateful if you will.
